JULY NEWS

New Maps, New Prices

We have changed printers for our maps once and for all. An Albuera map order was placed with the original printer six weeks ago and not a peep. We notified Blue Panther over the weekend and the games arrived TODAY! Talk about service!

So, if you've been waiting on an outstanding order of Albuera, we should be collating and shipping for the rest of the week.

Now for the bad news. The change in printers comes at a cost. In order to basically break even with distributors, we are forced to raise the MSRP of Albuera by $3. So, effective IMMEDIATELY, the new price of Albuera is $35.

We are hoping to be able to eat the additional cost from profit for most of our titles. Along with Albuera, the other exception is Bastogne or Bust. That game moves from die-cut printing to laser, and that additional cost is enormous. As a result, we will eat about 75% of the cost increase. However, this still means a modest price increase of $9 to $99. This increase will NOT take effect until we place our first order with BP. We still have a few BoB in stock and we'll honor the $90 price until they are gone.

Vol. 1 The Napoleonic Battlefield Series

Pre-orders are now closed for ALBUERA: 16 May 1811, our first Napoleonic game and the first in the new Napoleonic Battlefield Series. You can certainly still order it, and it is part of the Holiday Sale, but, unfortunately, you will no longer receive free shipping. The good news, however, is that given its small size, this title will be available in ziplock only. That means shipping is only $7 to CONUS; $25 to Canada and HI/AK; and $35 everywhere else. We anticipate this title arriving at PKG HQ in late January or early February. Order now to get your copy for 10% off!

IN DESIGN

As we await the playtest artwork for Antietam and Fortress Europe Italy to be completed, we have started design work on AUSTERLITZ, which is volume 2 of our new Napoleonic Battlefield Series. The first alpha-test of this new design is scheduled for early December. Stay tuned for more details …

AUGUST NEWS

NOW PRINTING!

BASTOGNE OR BUST: Designer’s Edition
Final artwork on BoB is done. The game is now at the printer. Based upon past performance, we anticipate a turn-around time of 3-4 months. This means that we expect to start receiving BoB parts here at PKG HQ approximately December 1. Pre-orders are now CLOSED. However, you can certainly still order the game (you just won’t get free shipping).
MSRP: $85

PRE-ORDERS

ALBUERA: 16 May 1811
Vol. 1 The Napoleonic Battlefield Series
ALBUERA: 16 May 1811 is our first Napoleonic game and the first in the new Napoleonic Battlefield Series. Designed by John Theissen and developed by Paul Koenig, it is very similar to Paul Koenig’s Bloody Civil War Series. The games are simple, yet historically accurate. This is old-fashioned beer & pretzels wargaming, designed to be enjoyed in an evening. Given its small size, this title will be available in ziplock only.
Contains:
1 map 25x14”
1 color rulebook 10 pages
88 double-sided 6/10” laser-cut playing pieces
1 Player Aid Chart
3 ziplock counter bags
1 die
MSRP: $27 pre-order to receive FREE shipping.

SHILOH: BLOODY APRIL, 1862
Designer’s Edition
MSRP: $65

There are about five copies left for immediate shipping.

REPLENISHMENT ORDER UPDATE
The new Replenishment Order from Blue Panther had to wait for the completion of the BoB artwork and the playtest kits for Albuera. Those projects are now done, so completing the minor tweaks required for new editions of Chancellorsville (3rd ed.), Fortress Europe (3rd ed.), Gettysburg (2nd ed.), and Chickamauga (2nd ed.) is now our priority. GPW has already begun on the maps. We anticipate receiving this product sometime in September.

PRODUCTION QUEUE
Bastogne or Bust: Designer’s Edition is printing now. Albuera is undergoing beta-testing. Next up will be simultaneous playtesting for Antietam and Fortress Europe Italy. Whichever title finsishes playtesting first will print first, followed by the other. Upon the completion of all of those titles, I will finally turn my attention to 5th Panzer Army and XXX Corps.

JUNE NEWS

SHILOH: BLOODY APRIL, 1862

Designer’s Edition

MSRP: $65

Maps are scheduled to arrive today (June 16). I will be picking up all other parts in person on Saturday. We will then begin collating. I expect to ship a few pre-orders before leaving for Expo. The bulk of the orders will ship upon my return. Pre-orders are closed. We will have about five copies on-hand at CSW Expo.

CHICKAMAUGA UPDATE

As you may know, we did not receive sufficient copies of Chickamauga in the Replenishment Order to cover all orders. A new batch is arriving with Shiloh. We will ship back-orders immediately. We should still have about five copies on-hand for CSW Expo.

NEW REPLENISHMENT ORDER

A new Replenishment Order from Blue Panther will begin printing immediately after Expo. This order will primarily consist of back-orders for distributors, such as Noble Knight. This will consist of the very first “third edition” copies of Chancellorsville and Fortress Europe, as well as “second edition” copies of Gettysburg.

FORTRESS EUROPE PRICE CHANGE

We announced in May that due to the witch from Game Production Workshop to Blue Panther, it was necessary to raise our prices to cover additional costs (the laser-cut counters, for example, are about three times as pensive as die-cut).  However, we really wanted to keep PKFE at $85 or less. In order to do that, we have reduced the size of the rulebook from 52 pages to 36. The removed pages consist of the Extended Example of Play and the countersheet PDFs, both of which are going to be placed on our website, if they haven’t already. The Bulge Scenario setups will be included as OB cards in the third edition. As a result of these changes, we are happy to announce that PKFE will be $85 (not $90 as mentioned in May). As a reminder, here are all of the price changes:

Paul Koenig’s Fortress Europe $85

Bastogne or Bust Designer’s Edition $85

Gettysburg $70

Chickamauga $65

Shiloh Designer’s Edition $65

Chancellorsville $54

PRE-ORDERS

BASTOGNE OR BUST: Designer’s Edition

Final artwork continues on BoB. It will print after Shiloh, perhaps in July. Pre-orders will remain open until the artwork is completed. As noted in the January News, the artwork delay was caused by recent contributions made by legendary Bulge enthusiast, Danny Parker. We thought it was worth it to incorporate his research. We are striving to have a “Big Board Game” version of BoB to show off at Expo. Although no physical copies will be available, you can pre-order it and receive FREE shipping. MSRP: $85 pre-order to receive FREE shipping.

PKG AT CSW EXPO

PKG will be attending ConSimWorld Expo in Tempe, AZ, from June 25-July 2. We will have Big Board Game versions of most of our games, so come take a look. I will also demo any of our titles if you’d like to give them a try. Note that PKG will not be attending the WBC this year.

PRODUCTION QUEUE

Immediately following Expo, the new Replenishment Order will print from Blue Panther. As soon as the final proofs are completed, BoB will begin printing from GPW. This may take 3-4 months to complete. For reasons explained last month, it is necessary for GPW to print such a large game. In the meantime, we are currently developing several titles. Following production of BoB, next in the queue is Albuera, our first Napoleonic game. Following Albuera will be either Antietam or Fortress Europe Italy, depending upon artwork and playtesting requirements. In any event, the other title will follow shortly thereafter. Upon the completion of all of those titles, I will finally turn my attention to 5th Panzer Army and XXX Corps.

06/02/16
PKFE Price Reduction

By reducing the size of the PKFE rulebook from 52 pages to 36, we are able to reduce the overall cost of the game from $90 to $85, effective IMMEDIATELY. The Extended Example of Play, 2004 Normandy pics, and the countersheet PDFs will be moved to the website. The Bulge setups will be included as PACs on cardstock.

05/20/16
Replenishment Order

Finally! It has taken nearly four months, but the long awaited Replenishment Order of back-stock has started to arrive at PKG HQ. I had put off a News update until we were assured that the Replenishment Order is on its way. Product is slowly being collated and shipped. Hopefully, it will all be out the door sometime next week. The Replenishment Order consists of back-stock of Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Chickamauga, and Fortress Europe. Note that the oldest orders will ship first. Relatively new orders may have to wait a little longer. But there’s good news here. More on that in a minute.

Printer Issues

The simple answer is that I don’t know why the last two orders have taken a collective eight months, and, quite frankly, I don’t care. The endless delays and, more importantly, the lack of communication, is unacceptable. Beginning NOW with the printing of Shiloh DE, we are going with a local printer here in Southern California, Blue Panther, LLC. BP will print boxes, counters, and rules. We will retain Game Production Workshop for maps only, something they are relatively good at if slow. The exception to all of this is Bastogne or Bust. BoB is our biggest game yet and to move it to BP would necessitate a price increase to over $100. Since GPW has well over 100 blank boxes in stock, we are going to let them print BoB. It will likely take them four months to deliver, but the cost benefit is HUGE (for example, BP would charge more for JUST the counters than GPW would for the ENTIRE game). Another requirement is the larger box. BP’s box is only 1” deep (think Leningrad from SPI). BoB will fit snug when mint, but once punched it won’t fit at all. We need the 1.5” boxes from GPW.

SHILOH: BLOODY APRIL, 1862
Designer’s Edition
MSRP: $65

Pre-orders for Shiloh has closed. You can still purchase it, but you no longer receive free shipping. Shiloh is being printed right now. We have given GPW a deadline of June 15 (for the maps) so as to be able to bring Shiloh to CSW Expo. BP will likely ship the other components within a couple of weeks. Note the pricing change below.

NEW PRINTER, NEW PRICING
With the switch from GPW to BP, there is a cost involved in going from Wisconsin to California. For one thing, BP uses laser-cut counters and these are significantly more expensive than die-cut. As a result, each of our games has had their MSRP re-evaluated. Effective IMMEDIATELY, the new MSRP for our boxed games is as follows (ziplocks remain $5 less). Sorry for the inconvenience.
Paul Koenig’s Fortress Europe $90
Bastogne or Bust Designer’s Edition $85
Gettysburg $70
Chickamauga $65
Shiloh Designer’s Edition $65
Chancellorsville $54

Following Albuera will be either Antietam or Fortress Europe Italy, depending upon artwork and playtesting requirements. In any event, the other title will follow shortly thereafter. Upon the completion of all of those titles, I will finally turn my attention to 5th Panzer Army and XXX Corps.

Shiloh Update

Shiloh Pricing: With Blue Panther doing the majority of the printing, the manufacturing cost of ONE copy of Shiloh is significantly higher. To off-set most (not even all) of the increase, it is necessary to raise the MSRP.

Therefore, effective IMMEDIATELY (Shiloh is being printed now), Shiloh DE is now $65 for boxed and $60 for ziplock. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The prices of our other games will be evaluated as they go into print with Blue Panther.

01/30/2016
Chickamauga Update
Chickamauga finally arrived January 21 and all “customer” orders have been shipped.  A few copies were missing charts or had a torn map, so not all of the “comp” orders have shipped yet. These are playtesters and review copies. More Chicks are being sent with the “replenishment” order (see below). Please be patient.

Replenishment Order
The printer is currently printing back orders of Fortress Europe, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, and more Chickamauga. These will ship when they arrive.

Shipping Prices
As many of you know, the USPS recently raised their shipping rates. As of now, PKG domestic costs are unaffected. However, international shipping has raised significantly, so much so that we need to raise our prices just to break even. (Recent shipments to Hong Kong and Spain, for example, cost us twice as much as the customers actually paid.) Therefore, effective Monday, February 1, all international shipping will be $35 for the first game and $10 for each additional game. Sorry for the inconvenience.

01/16/2016
Chickamauga Update
The Chick has hatched! After four agonizing months of delays, Chickamauga has finally shipped from the printer! Parts are scheduled to start arriving at PKG HQ on Thursday, January 21, at which time games will be collated and shipped in the order they were received. Thank you for your patience.

01/15/2016
Chickamauga/Shiloh Update
I have been told that the Chick will hatch (ship) tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath.

Today, January 15, is the last day of Shiloh DE pre-orders to receive free shipping. Also, starting tomorrow the price of Shiloh DE goes up from $50 to $55.

12/31/2015
Chickamauga Update

I waited till the last moment to send out this Newsletter in the hope of being able to tell you that Chickamauga is finally on its way. Unfortunately, that has not happened. There have been numerous delays from the printer over the last three months. The latest is that he is not sure he has enough material to fulfill the entire order. If that happens, we will ship Chick in order in which orders were received. We are hoping that Chick parts start shipping next week. Keep your fingers crossed.

Holiday Sale Ends Today
Thank you to everyone who made a purchase during our Holiday Sale. December was our best month ever! There are still a few more hours to save 10% (including pre-orders).

Pricing Changes
Our printer recently completed an internal audit and it was discovered that he had undercharged us for the large maps. To off-set this price increase on our end, we are forced to raise the price of Gettysburg and Shiloh. GB will go from $55 to $60, and this increase will take effect January 1, 2016. Shiloh will go from $50 to $55, and this increase will take effect at soon as pre-orders close. Pre-orders for Shiloh will close as soon as final artwork is completed. We anticipate this to happen in January. So to get a real good deal on Shiloh Designer’s Edition, get your pre-orders in ASAP. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pre-orders
Pre-orders for Bastogne or Bust and Shiloh Designer’s Edition continue to be strong. In fact, BoB is about nine orders away from becoming our number one pre-order title of all-time, surpassing Fortress Europe. Pre-orders for both games will end as soon as final artwork is completed. That should be sometime in January for Shiloh, perhaps early February for BoB.

BASTOGNE OR BUST: Designer’s Edition

MSRP: $85 pre-order to receive FREE shipping

SHILOH: BLOODY APRIL, 1862

Designer’s Edition

Pre-Order Price: $50 and FREE shipping

MSRP: $55

Coming Soon... Nappy in Spain

PKG has reached an agreement with designer John Theissen to publish his Napoleonic Battlefield Series. The first game is Albuera (1811). This series is similar to the Bloody Civil War in that it is easy to play yet historically accurate. The playtest map is only 11x17. This will increase slightly when the hexes are increased to 19mm. Nevertheless, the rulebook is only about 10 pages and there is only one countersheet. My kinda game! Look for Albuera in the spring or early summer. As of now, given its size, we anticipate ziplock only for this title.

10/30/2015 News Update

In an effort to keep our debt from spiraling out of control, we are forced to eliminate our online discount. Effective November 1, 2015, all prices will be Manufacturer's Suggested Retail (MSRP). We will offer a 10% multi-game discount if you purchase two games or more. We will also continue to offer free shipping on pre-orders. We expect to announce the availability of Bastogne or Bust for pre-order very shortly. Stay tuned and we are sorry for any inconvenience.

6/09/2015 Update:
GB update: All Gettysburg components are here except for the maps and boxes, which were mailed from WI today. I should be able to finally collate GB Friday afternoon and start shipping Saturday. Yeah!
3/28/2015 Update:
Update: GPW, my printer, assures me that the components for Chancellorsville will ship from WI to CA next week.
Gettysburg is "done" except for a final proofing of the map. That delay is my fault as I did not mail the map to Stephen Oliver until today (Priority Mail). So, he should get it Tuesday at the latest. As soon as he approves it, I will place the official order for GB.

In the meantime, Steve Bradford is finishing up the conversion of the PKFE counters to the new template.
We're almost there, folks. Just a little more patience.
3/7/2015 Update:
We are just a couple of days--perhaps sooner--from signing off on Gettysburg. Then it's the finishing touches on PKFE and we're done.
Chancellorsville is currently being printed. The printer is running low on certain materials which caused a short delay. I believe that will be rectified this weekend.
11/11/2013 A Letter To Our Troops, the Loyal Customers of PKG

Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force and PKG customers! You are about to embark upon a great crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers in arms on other fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world by playing Paul Koenig's FORTRESS EUROPE.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened, he will fight savagely.

But this is the year 2013! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man to man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our home fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to victory!

I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle and on the table-top. We will accept nothing less than full victory!

Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessings of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.

-- Paul Koenig (and Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower)

PKFE is available and shipping now! Thank you to everyone who made it possible, especially you, our customers!

10/31/2013 PKFE Update

Well, just when we thought we were on the cusp of a green light, we found some more errors that previously were thought to be fixed. It doesn't look like we'll make November 1, but I am hopeful for next week.

10/23/13 PFKE Update

I think we've finally come to an end for the rulebook edits. So, one more final "cleanup" of the layout and we should be done. We'll print the counters one more time to double-check those most recent fixes, then it's a green light. Next week looks real good right now.

10/19/13 A Call to Arms: PKG Update

PKG is looking for outside submissions so that we can expand beyond just my designs. If you are a veteran or newbie wargame designer, we want to hear from you. We are especially interested in reprinting old classics, provided you own the rights. But we'd like to hear from newcomers too. After all, I was a newbie once ...

Shoot me an email (
pk@paulkoeniggames.com
or send a playtest kit to PKG. Single map games are ideal for Print on Demand, but we are looking to expand into larger games too.

10/19/13 GBJ Update

We are now accepting pre-payment for Gettysburg in order to print two 22x34 maps instead of eight 11x17s. We need 65 orders to print the maps. When we hit 65, the game prints. Our goal is to publish the game in December.

MSRP is $65. The online price is $56. The PRE-PAY price is $40 plus shipping. Shipping is $13 for CONUS and $25 everywhere else. CA residents, please add 8% sales tax.

To pre-pay for GBJ, send check or money order to:

Paul Koenig Games

8400 Edinger Ave, T103

Huntington Beach, CA 92647

A new credit card swiper has arrived, so we should be able to accept credit cards now. However, because neither our email nor the website is "secured" or insured, we can only accept credit cards by phone. To place a credit card order by phone, call 714-887-7052714-887-7052.

Alternatively, international customers (only) may use Paypal at bubbakoenig@ymail.com.

9/23/13 PKKE Update

The rules layout is finally done! Give us about a week for one last round of proofing and we should be able to print at the end of the month. Yeah!

9/23/13 PKKE Update

On a happier note, finally, some progress on the rules layout. End of September seems like a reasonable goal at this point.

8/30/13PKKE Delay Explanation

I've received several emails from folks wanting to know what the problem is. So, here's the skinny:

PKFE has been delayed because my layout artist has been dealing with a family crisis. I then turned over the job of finishing the rules layout to a VPG employee. Then his co-worker went on vacation, which caused him to have to run the printers every day. Now things are seemingly back to normal, except that VPG is sending employees to three conventions this Labor Day Weekend.

So, in a nutshell, we hit a bump in the road that has caused roughly a six weeks delay. Not ideal, but not a catastrophe either. Nathan at VPG should start back on the rules layout on Tuesday. I am told that he needs about two weeks. So, as of now, the expectation is to ship approximately the middle of September.

Please continue to be patient. The game will be worth the wait. I promise.

8/29/13 PKKE Update

Unfortunately, as the VPG crew scrambles to print titles in time for this weekend's conventions (they are attending three), PKFE will not be ready. However, we are hopeful that at Gateway and Pacificon a promo will be available and gamers can pre-order the game with the current FREE shipping discount. We are still probably 10 days to two weeks away from publication. Hang in there. It's coming. I promise.

8/21/13 Current Production Schedule

PKFE, obviously, is next. We hope to ship by the end of August. The delay is due to issues with the layout of the rulebook and a key VPG employee going on vacation. It's coming real soon. Just a little more patience.

After that is Gettysburg. GB has been delayed due to an illness in the family of the map maker. Once that happened, I pulled the plug in order to generate enough pre-pay orders to print the maps separately (like we did for PKFE) so as to not have 8 11x17s. We will officially announce the pre-pay offer when the map is finalized (so keep praying for Gary's dad). The goal is to publish GB in time for Christmas.

Our first game next year will be Chickamauga. We hope to be selling this in the spring.

Our big summer release next year will be The Sands of Iwo Jima. I will be creating a folder for this shortly.

Our last title for 2014 will be Antietam. We anticipate selling this game in the fall or winter.

All of these above titles fit the Print on Demand model. In January we hope to start taking pre-orders for Twilight of the Gods. This is a true MONSTER game (about 10 22x34s and 1000 counters) that will need to be printed in China. The goal is to generate sufficient pre-orders (approximately 310) to publish this giant game in the summer of 2015. For more details on Twilight, I just started a folder for it (although I inadvertently made it in the Western Front ... I have asked Sysop to move it to the Multi-Front section).

This schedule is all that can I hope to accomplish as the chief designer and developer. If you have any submissions, especially something that is small enough for Print on Demand, please email me or send me a playtest kit at:

8/17/13 PKBCWS PBEM Tourney

Announcing the first annual (hopefully) Paul Koenig's Bloody Civil War Series PBEM Tournament.

I'd like to get at least 8 entrants before we get started. For this first tournament, we will play Chance using Steve's new Vassal module. In the future, once other games have been published (and a module is made for Shiloh), players will be able to choose what game they want to play. We will also add Zun Tzu, once that module is completed.

The winner of the tournament will receive a voucher for any PKBCWS game, including Shiloh or the not-yet released Gettysburg. If you prefer to hold your ticket until Chickamauga or Antietam are published next year, go right ahead.

If you want to play, shoot me an email. Thanks.

8/17/13 PFKE Update

I just visited Nathan at the VPG warehouse. Since Vinny is on vacation, he has been running the printers and will continue to do so for another week.

What that means is that the work needed to complete the layout of the rulebook has not been done. We are, however, hopeful that we can print and ship by the end of the month.

7/29/13 PFKE WBC Update

I have to sadly announce that PKFE will not be printed in time to have at the WBC. There are layout issues with the rulebook that are still unresolved.

However, I will have a "proof" copy available to show you what everything will look like and I will have a playtest kit if anyone wants to play it.

As a Convention Special, we will be accepting pre-pay orders at the WBC with FREE* shipping. This is a great deal and will help off-set the cost of the convention, so I encourage you to buy one.

The online (and convention) price is $70. The MSRP is $80.

We are hopeful that the layout issues will be resolved within a week or so and the game will likely ship soon after the conclusion of the WBC.

* FREE shipping to CONUS. International customers receive roughly 50% off ($13 instead of $25).

7/12/13 PFKE Update

The map went to the printer yesterday. I expect the final "blueline" proof either today or Monday. We are about 10 days out from printing the game. If all goes well I should have about 30 copies available at the WBC. Pre-paid customers will have their shipped. I will not have any "extras" to give to pre-paid customers at the con. You all paid for shipping anyway.

7/11/13 PFKE Update

I expect to pay for the maps tomorrow. That then starts the countdown clock and gives us about 10 days to finish everything else. The game would then be printed the week before the WBC, just in time to ship copies to the Host to sell.

6/30/13 PFKE & GBK Updates

I was sick for a week, which temporarily stopped the proofing of PKFE. That is now on track and hopefully we'll get the map printed at the end of next week. The two-week delay in printing PKFE, however, means that we will unfortunately not have GBJ available for the WBC. We'll be able to devote all of our time to it once the WBC is over. So, my expectation at the moment is late-August or early September.

6/2113 PFKE Update

Wanted to be done with proofing the map today. Not quite. I printed the latest rendition at VPG and will be going over it for the next few days. I think we're real close and could print the map next week.

6/12/13 PFKE Single Map!

I just got off the phone with the map printer and they CAN fold the map to fit our box. When folded the 26x38 map will be 6.5x9.5, which will fit the 8.5x11 box. Yeah!

Assuming that we can proof and correct errors quickly, the hope is to have the final proof file in the printer's hands on Friday, June 21. He would take ten days to print and fold. We would use that time to finish the proofing of the counters, charts, rulebook, and box. If all goes well, we should be able to ship in early July.

6/11/13 Meeting with the PKFE Map Printer

Ok, so I don't want to alarm anyone because I have not been told anything definitive. But after speaking with the map printer they are not sure that their machine can properly fold the map to fit our box. I had not been told this back in March.

Hopefully, they will notify me shortly that they CAN do it and all is fine. However, I need to be prepared for the unpleasant possibility that they CAN'T.

The easiest solution seems to be to cut the 26x38 map in half and fold them into 6.5x9 halves, which will fit the box. However, I promised those who pre-paid a single map. So, what might have to happen is that I will have to ship the 25 pre-paid customers a single map that does NOT fit into the box. All other orders (and pre-payment is CLOSED, BTW) will receive the two 13x18 sheets. To be more specific, however, is that those pre-paid customers would get an extra map (the two halves inside the box and the promised single sheet that doesn't fit the box).

Anyway, it is all premature right now. You'll know more when I do. In the meantime, proofing continues.

6/6/13 PFKE Update

Pre-payment is officially closed. We have received sufficient orders to pay for the printing of the maps. All of the checks received to date will be deposited soon, possibly tomorrow. I expect to pay for the maps around June 21. I hope to ship the game at the end of June or early July.
